We are a Centre of Excellence working in partnership to help people build safe, friendly and cohesive communities by providing specialist training, support and advice services.

We provide specialist training and support to neighbourhood practitioners, residents and community groups. By developing tailored programmes which equip individuals with the practical skills and knowledge they need to develop and foster community lead organisation in their local neighbourhoods set within the context of the governments 'Big Society' agenda.

We currently manage a portfolio of core programmes including the delivery of two regional neighbourhood improvement programmes for the West and  East Midlands on behalf of the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships and both programmes run until March 2011.

We also belong to a National Alliance of accredited training and resource centres that offer services in every region of England. Each Centre has a team of highly skilled and experienced regeneration practitioners who can support those who live, work and manage in neighbourhoods.
